My problem with WizzAir ...

I have been travelling with WizzAir for the last 5 years, more frequently in the last couple of years and the more I travel, the more I realize what a rip off that company is.

I remember at the very beginning when they started to have direct flights to Romania, Targu Mures (that's where I travel mostly with them) they were so hummble and rubbish. There were always issues with customer services no matter which way you were travelling and they always had problems with baggage handling (every single bloody time I was travelling, either my brand new bag was broken, or opened, or were "killed" so badly that I had to buy a new one, every single occasion, so we can f* posh super duper bags because they won't last either more than 2 journeys...).

Now throughout the years most of the issues seem to be sorted yet, my bags still get damaged, no matter how much I beg for it not to happen...

Snobbism got brought sort of to a new level as well. They send you satisfaction surveys if you travel from Luton, yet when you travel from Romania, Targu Mures  no one is interested in your opinion  (though I must admit the check in procedure has improved big times from Romania/ Targu Mures, at the airport, specially in the last couple of years).

Anyway back to Wizzair's booking policy. It is going on my nerves year by year, specially the fact how much they wary the prices of the checked in baggages and the fees you have to pay at the airport.

But now what really is the cherry on the cake is their Change your booking policy. Earlier, this year August when I was travelling I had to change my flight due to unforeseen circumstances and I paid the flight change fee which was £7.50, the flight ticket difference and rebook seats. This time (October now) when I want to change my flight it charges me 50% of my previous flight ticket (old flight ticket's price + admin fee halfed) + new and old flight ticket difference (in which admin fee is calculated again) + admin fee of £7 again.
For what the heck am I paying so many times the admin fee and half of the previous flight's ticket, which I am not using anyways???
Why can't they just keep it blimy simple and charge you for a flat flight change fee (which is also reasonable and charge you once for admin fee) I just simply don't get it!!! Admin is done by an automated system anyway.

Maybe it is just me, but it cracks me how much they wary the prices and their price policies and their customer service is a nightmare when you have to sort your issues ( I personally try to avoid them because they just are nerve killers, but all my friends just suck with them)... One more good advise, they always direct everyone to call their customer services line which costs btw £1.1/ minutes so good luck and lot of money on your phone if you ever have to call them. Why can't they just issue a personalized code with each booking that can be used to get connection on a normal tariff rate with someone, this way the call can get directly connected to the booking information too (do to easier security check), issues get sorted faster and for those who call them because they are lazy to search for information on their website leave the high standard fee, as simple is that...
Yeah, I know... it doesn't bring money to the kitchen...

OH and one more thing. Their 20% OFF promotion is a YOU PAY EXTRA OR HAVE NOTHING OFF ACTUALLY :))). I have been watching their sites for two months and whenever they had the 20% off promotion the ticket prices where at least with 20% higher than on the previous days or week. So massive claps for them... I just hope they will get on that route a competitor soon as 5 years with them and I still don't recommend to anyone only as a very very last resort.

They are lucky not having literally one competitor doing that route, which is odd as there is more and more demand for the flight at the moment ( though I guess this will change too after Brexit and when the pound will kiss the bottom of the ocean and people will go to other countries to work then they won't even have flights more often than once a week so they just live for today...)

BUT THIS IS STILL NOT AN EXCUSE OF MESSING AROUND WITH THEIR OFFERS AND TAKING THE MICKEY...
