- More and more immigrants are coming to the UK with the hope of better future through higher paid jobs
- After reaching the UK by following their dreams it turns out that they actually won't get such an easy way any job or if they do they aren't well paid, for which reasons are mainly following:
* Employees don't trust people coming from abroad (it is
reasonable to a certain
limit)
* Employees see the desperation or the need for work by
employees so they grab the opportunity to offer the
work in a rate below the market average still
expecting the same precise outstanding work supplied
(this way resulting lack of motivation to do the job well)
* People are discriminated on their gender, age, race and
national background that from some reason isn't realized,
admitted because of being afraid of loosing of current
position, status and the issues of not knowing how to
keep/ get new ones.
- The UK Border agency is dealing with so many applications on a daily basis that even they can't catch up properly with their own work
- Immigration and employment law is being ignored by many companies
- Positions are filled by people who don't know how to lead, how to manage, how to organize, have relevant knowledge (in senior positions not prepared) of the position filled in, being prepared poorly for it and most finally/ importantly how to use common sense
- Majority of the employees don't get proper training and on a constant basis, all I see they are put in one position and told to get on with it. But I am asking following: in this constantly and fast changing market if you don't provide sufficient ongoing training and a plan that shows how you deal with change or how you prepare for those in case of certain work roles, what do you want to achieve how do you want to keep your employees for long term and build your "empire" with the same, great team?
- Immigrants being here on working visa doing jobs for companies that treat them inhuman, and the job market seems to become much more like a labour market where people are chucked from one place to the other and not being treated fairly
- I was told at the very beginning that English people are proud and they don't want to work but as watching more I realized, that they want to work but they have their own brain and better invest in something else then working for someone who isn't interested in them just wants the job to be done and anyways in this over filled market they hardly have the possibility to work on their own land.
- The importance of different roles/ positions isn't understood or taken seriously so this way unnecessary issues arise on everyday basis in every business' life which aren't dealt with on a professional, well managed basis instead problems are brushed under the cover and just piled up and when shit hits in then everyone is running like crazy just not to be in the scene of "explosion". For example: Many managerial roles are filled with people who don't know what to do or how to do so this way companies keep their costs low but in long term they harm their image because of not hiring or training the right people and during the processes they seem even to totally loose interest in doing so. A manager is an ambassador of a company such as the receptionist or customer services consultant and if you send to the battle field (shop, meeting to sell, meeting to provide advice/ support etc.) someone unarmored or poorly prepared is more likely you'll loose the battle sooner or later (which as reality shows happens very soon).
- Companies seek for a great image, prestige, respect and admitted for their professionalism but in most cases what they receive is just "provide me what I want and leave me alone" and they cause this mess for themselves by not looking after their ambassadors but barking about their greatness...
Money talks specially in main cities but mostly in London which is sad because if the current position will be hold up like this the market will decline and London will become a mess in itself no matter of their beauty and prestige. The costs are constantly increasing such as traveling costs, living costs, food prices etc. but the standard of living on the other hand is becoming hard, the services provided for the residents money are demotivating and extremely pity. Or they can do the other way round the UK employment legislation will be forced to be used properly this way generating the opportunity to build and increase the market, living standard services and human satisfaction .
